About the Ateso language
Ateso is a langauge spoken by the Iteso , a group of Eastern Nilotics who live in parts of Eastern Uganda and Western Kenya. There are bout 2,600,000 users of the language in East Africa. It is widely spoken in Amuria, Bukedea, Bulambuli, , Kibuku, Kumi, Pallisa, Ngora, Serere, Soroti, and Tororo districts; Lake Bisina area. The Ateso translation on the market at the moment, was first published in 1961.Currently, the Ateso Bible is being revised. Donate to translate a chapter in the Ateso Bible.
